Buttermilk Pie
There is one item every fridge needs:
Buttermilk
If you don't have any in your fridge, then you MUST go get some right now.
And then make a couple of these:
Buttermilk Pie
1 9-inch unbaked pie shell (deep-dish works best)
½ cup butter/margarine
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
3 heaping tablespoons of flour
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
Dash of nutmeg
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Cream margarine and sugar
3. Add eggs and flour; beat well
4. Add buttermilk, vanilla, and nutmeg; beat well
5. Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pie shell (deep dish works best)
6. Bake for 45- 50 minutes
